Do someone know how to decrease the sound level when dialing a phone number? I'm using a Passport.

Ok thanks! So I guess the only way is to turn off sound overall and use the individual notification settings.

Yep that's the only way. It will also silence the obnoxiously loud camera shutter sound if you put the phone on silent and then just adjust individual account level notifications.

Or start typing the letter/number keys on the left (wer etc.) from the start page of the phone app and click call. Get it?

That works if you're wanting to call a contact but what if you're just trying to dial a number? Assuming I'm understanding what you're saying that is....

From the contact view that works (or directly from a phone startpage where Blackberry assistent activates) If you just start with a letter, which activates the virtual characters, delete the same letter and start typing numbers. That's definetly å workaround. Thanks for the reminder!

Just tried and you're right that does work! I never tried doing that before...needs some practice though to get good at remembering which numbers are where.
