I have problems with the passport photo filters. If you take a picture and use an integrated filter, the picture is resized and loses five million pixels!

Original size: 4160x3120 pixels ..
With filters: 3344x2508 pixels ..

Take a picture and put a random filter and go to the menu properties.
I tested the Classic and nothing to report. Only with Passport.

Don't all filters of all cameras do this? ... if you resize a photo and save etc...?.. run a filter and save... etc

Nothing to do with the photo as taken or quality of the original...imo

If you crop an image you lose pixels but if you apply a filter you do not lose pixels. Turn a photo with a filter must not lose pixels !!!

My Samsung S5 does the same thing. Reduces the resolution by more than half after applying a filter. If I remember correctly, a similar thing occurs when I process my digital camera's pics in Lightroom on the computer too.
