Went into a local store in NNJ, they had both the passport and classic on display. I got to demo both and fell in love with the classic that trackpad is awesome for one handed use along with toolbelt. Passport seems wide at first needs some getting use to. Build quality on both is really good. I was imagining the passport with the trackpad and toolbelt and how one handed use would be possible. Navigating the OS with the trackpad is great. Trying to decide which to get probably passport since it's different maybe I will buy a classic out right if price drops....

I live near Buffalo, NY and according to their website one store in the area has the Passport in Store. 20 miles from me and I have a DRI Passport so I won't be stopping by to check it out.

In my area Three AT&T store are showing the Classic in stock but none have the Passport at the moment.

I live in Atlanta and according to the site, several stores have the Passport available... at the moment I am in Florida for a business trip and when I entered the zip code here, also shows availability of the Passport in store in several locations in a range of 25 miles.. so I guess it depends where you are at... if I have the chance I will go to check it out and compare it to my original model...

Played with the Classic today. Tried to compare to memory's of 8300 and 9810. Very nice phone. I am in the kuntry about 30 miles from a large city . The att reps were both stupid and knew nothing about it. The passport was not there and they didnt know if they would get it there on display or not.

No training on the phone at all. All they were told is that they have a HUB in the phone along with other phone training. Way to go att.

Got mine this morning around 9am, was the only one in stock at the location I went to and they showed 5 in stock at another store nearby. So, yes, they were pretty low on Passports.

Still getting used to the keyboard and I think it'll work itself out fine, coming from a Q10. My only gripe so far is the bland LCD vs. the deep color rich OLED on the Q10. Is there also any way to get the dark menus? Hm.

Thank you. I was half-tempted to hunt down another Torch to replace it with, but I know I should move on to the newer BBs so AT&T's timing was very good. I just ordered my Passport - I have 14 days to return it so that gives me time to hold onto it for a while and see if the size is really going to bother me or not, before I actually activate it.

Ordered mine on the website at 12:15 AM. Picked it up today. One guy was there ahead of me picking his up too. We got the only 2 the store had. Another guy walks in and picks up a Classic. We got the whole inventory. Hahaha!

In a few months when the unlocked BlackBerry drops in price I might pick one up too.

Good luck to those looking for stock, seems like there were very few shipped here in Long! Island NY.

The store I bought from yesterday had 3. I took one. Called them today and they have one left. Another Passport holder out there in my area of 200k people.

I think ATT went short on stock to gauge initial interest. That the online supply sold out supports my theory.
