I will , but first I do want to hold one in my hand first. Checked with two corporate stores in omaha, ne. Both said they did not have a display at this time or if they were going to get one at all. I then did a chat on line with att rep and she said the stores will have a display. My guess not on February 20th
It makes a lot of sense to play with one before you buy. I was quite surprised by the shape, it's a very different phone.

I have had the regular Passport since October and find it does get stuck in jacket pockets with the square corners. I would love to have an AT&T Stealth Model in all black but probably will settle for the white in a black case.

Will having Band 29 help? My LTE connection was noticeably worse indoors compared to other phones I have used. I just picked up a Passport of $399 from Shopblackberry with the deal and a coupon but I would return it if the AT&T Passport had better reception.

I would like to see the accessories first before I pull the trigger on AT&T Passport. As someone mentioned the AT&T version is going to be slightly taller due to the extra "chin", I hope BlackBerry does not bungle this one up again for lack of accessories.

Is it up to Blackberry or is it up to the accessory manufacturers? I doubt BlackBerry has much to do with what accessories are available.

That's what I'm thinking. My Passport instantly drops to 4G when moving inside of any substantial structure (like a big box store). Seems that band 29 is at 700MHz, which would (being a relatively low frequency) definitely play a role in improving penetration and/or distance of propagation.

Would be a matter of actually trying it out in your environments to see if the improvement is worth the extra cost and changes in appearance (if you don't like them, that is).

AT&T Passport (SQW100-3) loses Verizon (13) and the EMEA/Asia roaming bands (20/8), but has improved aggregation with pre-existing frequencies (29), so domestic LTE should be faster.
Do these frequency differences affect its ability to be used on T Mobile USA? Not sure if I want rounded corners or not, but I want one that works best on T Mobile.

My take on the fact Verizon does not sell the BB Classic, is that it has already been out 6 months and they are waiting to see if ATT&T are successful selling the Passport. If they are then you will see them pick up the new version of the Passport when it comes out. Probably in Verizon red LOL.

At&T has the exclusive on the Passport.

According to the front page, Verizon will be selling the Classic starting Feb 26th

I have 24 Z10s 3 Q10s and 4 Z30s currently. The Z10s and Q10s are due for a tech refresh on contract in March. Employees will get to chose from the Classic or Passport. The Z30s will probably stay. Some employees said they would rather wait until the next all touch. I'm with them.

My wallet hopes you are wrong. I remember the Z30 had a thread regarding LTE bands and a member named Raino ( not sure about the spelling) was very knowledgeable. I will try to send him a PM and have him weigh in on band 29 and any reception benefits we may see.

I already have an OG black and the limited edition red one.

The bold style stands out, and the at&t one feels "watered down," like it was told to behave or something.

I hope it sells well though, it just don't be sold to me.
