For those of you who have experienced both of the passports, which one is better?
I'm ready to buy one but I can't because I cannot make up my mind. My carrier is AT&T but I do not like the look of the new passport for some reason. I love the look of the original keyboard especially in landscape mode compared to the att passport.

Is there anyone else on the same boat as me?

I like my square passport a lot, I must admit rounded edges would be more comfortable. I prefer the square look.

I prefer the look of the OG Passport. Both look great, I just like the edginess of the original.

I prefer the looks of the original but the added "chin" on the AT&T's make it more ergonomically correct and better balanced.

That's what I'm stuck on ergonomics vs looks. I feel like I would have to hold both of them in hand to get my questioned answered but that would involve waiting for my att store to get them. Then order an OG passport, THEN make up my mind. But who has time for that

If you are planning to place your phone in pants pocket and go naked, buy the at&t one. From the design point of few, it looks less prone to slight twisting. But this simply a wild guess.

    Att passport all the way.

They didn't just redesign the shape of it.
The screen is actually quite noticeably larger (bezel reduction), the keys are much easier to press (with much less resistance), the added chin at the bottom makes using the keyboard to scroll feel natural. the keys are also physically at least 10% larger than the keys on my old passport. The chin really makes such a difference though. My fingers regularly feel tired and get hurt using the red passport keyboard and that feeling is totally absent with the att one. I even switched back and forth to make sure and the red still hurts. I never use the touch sensitive keyboard with my red passport but am using it all the time on my att one. The wireless charging is another benefit. The weight also feels better distributed which makes the phone feel way less of a strain to hold for long periods of time.

There is no competition in my mind.

Only thing I didn't like about it was how small the trackpad was. It's like a mini trackpad. Here are some pics to try to give you an idea of the size:

If I didn't already have one from BlackBerry and was buying right now I think I would go with the AT&T version, but I am happy with the one I have and will not be making a change.

So you're saying that BlackBerry is using a larger screen and larger keyboard in the ATT version of the Passport compared to the original Passport?

I don't doubt that it's gorgeous in person, but your claims of hardware change are hard to believe.

I think it's an optical illusion. The bezels on the at&t one look bigger, and the chin and extra space between the keyboard and the stainless steel frame make things look bigger.

It's the same screen and same keyboard, or else at&t would note the increased screen size and keyboard size in order to tempt people who've already got the square Passport.
