agree with all above posts.. might add that camera is just about Ok and not very perky. However in HDR mode or ideal sun conditions it sometime stumps any 13 mp phone camera out there... IF it gets the focus right
My only gripe with the camera is it's focus. Other than that, it's great.

Same here, although Blackberry tried hiring camera coders but probably they were not willing to pay the right price for real specialist talent. I never heard anything further on camera code development again after that.

The camera is not bad at all its just about getting the focus right. I use a silver edition passport. I'm really enjoying the passport. The 10.3.2 experience on the passport is better than any other BB10 phone. Trust me it's a great buy.

Are you saying the auto-focus doesn't work properly? My experience with it is that it doesn't lock very well and even when it "does", the picture is out-of-focus.
I'm saying take a moment and manual focus it and don't rely on something to it all for you.

This device is just a beast, multitasking is just one of the features. Everything is just awesome, battery life minimum 30 hrs ago, before I have to charge. Keyboard is just amazing, and to top it all, the touch sensitive keyboard, it's just top notch.
All the people I have shown this too are too overwhelmed by this device.
Blackberry passport is just the heavenly gift for all BlackBerry lovers and followers.
Was initially interested in SE, but this too completes every task just so much more efficiently. Loving this to the core. BlackBerry shouldn't even bother to come up any update on this just keep updating the OS.

    Thanks

My og Passport does all of the above and more. I haven't run into a problem I couldn't fix.

Yeah camera++ allows you to manually focus which helps a lot. The BlackBerry camera seems to continuously focus and refocus making for blurry pics at times.

But there's always ways around everything with the BlackBerry. Sometimes you just have to take the time to figure it out.

The auto-focus with the native app works way better than Camera++, which *DOES* have an auto-focus mode. My point is that everyone keeps repeating that Camera++ solves all the camera issues, but it doesn't. I bought into this mantra and bought the app and it's lacking.

I use full manual (ISO, f-stop, focus) with my digital camera. I use the phone camera for quick snaps. It's seems ridiculous to me to spend as much time manually adjusting a phone camera when it won't produce as nearly as good a photo.

it takes mere moments to adjust the focus. You can leave iso and what not on auto or tweak it.
Focus is just a small slider bar to get it right. Rather than just tapping on the screen, or tap and holding.
