    Hey,

I did not update my software since I bought my Passport as I am extremely scared my battery life would get worse. I mean now it's good it holds about 13-14 hours although when I bought it I was expecting around 30 hours. Anyways I am so scared that my battery would get worse if I will update but on the other hand I have a little hope maybe it would actually improve the battery.

I have several android apps I downloaded from Google play. I want to give the update a try but is there anything you guys suggest I should do before I update? Maybe erase all the android apps and then download them again?

Erase the whole phone before updating? I don't know I just want to make sure it will update on the best side it can.

Thank you guys so much for your help.

I attached the current OS I'm running and the one it suggests me to update to. Is it even worth the update?

Ate update your passport it's fine, if you experience any battery issues ignore it for a couple of days as it just means it's settling in. After a couple of days the phone/beast will balance out and your battery will be as normal ok.

I have had great results on the new update. Android apps perform much better and the overall OS is great. I would highly recommend it. Just backup first with link and do it.

Personally I'd delete the android apps before updating also I'd keep them off, but that's just me.

I can confirm: your battery's poor performance comes from Android's apps

Go ahead and update, you will kick yourself for waiting so long! It's a great update and my battery has not been affected at all.

Go ahead and update. Your battery should be the same after the update. New OS doesn't bring any improvements in terms of battery life so it should be exactly the same as before..

Latest OS is awesome! Just do it... takes a few days for battery to get optimal...
