    Hi all,
I want to change my android phone to another and I decide to go for Blackberry Passport. I read some comments from this site where I know there are many people who have problems when buying at ShopBlackberry (include hardware and service). So from your experience, can you tell me where I should go to buy this phone? Thanks for your replies.

    Welcome to the forums!

Problems ith ShopBlackBerry were supply and demand related and have been addressed.

Either ShopBlackBerry or Amazon.com should see you with a Passport.

The shopping experience with Amazon is pretty strong whether involving Passport or whatever. Shopblackberry is okay but Amazon is very good at what they do.

They both do the job but if you do have any problems then amazon is a lot better so I would recommend amazon

If you have a Prime account...go with Amazon. One day shipping is only 3.99.

If you don't, I believe it ships two-day for free.

Either should be fine now. Whatever floats your boat.

Got mine from Amazon. Thought it was the best bet after reading about all the problems with Shop Blackberry. So many people ordered from SB showing the Passport in stock only to find out later that it wasn't,

Amazon all the way. Not even a question. If you have any issues with your phone in the first 30 days, they will cross-ship you a replacement immediately (subject to stock availability). And if the replacement is defective, they will send another one.

Shopblackberry supports PayPal, Amazon doesn't. Except that I see no difference.

I'd go with Amazon, if you look now they are selling some for around 470 from UK.

do the uk ones differ ? unboxing on yoo-toobe shows it has a hard shell & screen protector included in the =box with several UK/EU plugs... if some get it for $470+$5s/h I will be appropriately pissed after I shelled out $599 & BB offered me a free 2 day shipping by email ...of course that was over 5 days ago...

I ordered from both Amazon & shopBB on Oct 31st when they had stock. I got the shopBB shipment before amazon so i just cancelled amazon.
So far everything has been good.

WIll say though - amazon does have far superier customer service and returning or dealing with RMA's are soo easy with them.
DR seems like a disaster - hopefully BB will fix that one day

I think what you saw was the VIP package. I know that came with the hard shell and a variety of plugs.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong...

    Hi. Look, stop thinking.
They are all new and if one is cheaper, shop blackberry is $599.00
If amazon has same price good, and if you have an Amazon credit card...cha ching...Amazon points to boot!
ShopBlackBerry gives you 30 money back guarantee. Awesome!

    Amazon.com there $470 right now
Wow! That's better than the discounted coupon price. The only worry is that the seller just launched, has no ratings, and is selling quite a few items way cheaper than list. If Amazon lists them, are they legit?

EDIT: The seller has disappeared from Amazon!

    Amazon all the way.

Shopblackberry ships via FedEx and post office, been a week to get a q5 that was shipped 2 day.

Amazon two day was actually next day once in stock.

What if your phone is found defective after 3 months? I had my Q10 replaced by Verizon many times for double-typing throughout my first year. Luckily I got a good one before the year ran out.
