Has anyone here used either the flip or flex case for the SE for long term and noticed any frame "damage"? Seems like the bottom two corners could be susceptible to some pain chipping from the OEM cases, from the way they really grab onto the SE.

I love the feeling of the Passport SE naked so I would take off the case when I was @ home. The case goes back on when I leave the house. Obviously the more you put in and take off, the more chances the case will damage the bottom chin. That's what happened to me. The generally insert from top and snap the case on the lower half last... the snap took a chunk off of the plastic as I placed the case on. Fortunately I was able to exchange this within the 30 day time-frame as it as damaged by an OEM product. I learned to insert @ bottom, then snap @ top as that is made out of stainless steel.

Am using the OEM Flip case and I see your concern. I've had the case since October 2015 and so far no damage to the bottom corners. Unlike gquan14, I don't change cases often. I think the damage would likely happen if you remove then put the case back on frequently. I actually like the protection the flip case of the SE gives versus the flip case of the OG which is just taped on to the back.

Yes, it chips the corners and removes the paint....I stopped using the official Bb cases.
