    Novel idea... instead of going to Crackberry or Imore... and be preached to by the converted... how about a couple of trips to your local carrier store and test drive each... if you rely on the opinion of others to make a purchase... it is like have client represent himself in court... a fool for a client... Smartphones are an individual activity... not a group one.... good luck which ever way the OP goes...

    Sound like an iphone is what you need.

    A BB is for communication and takes some work for the rest of the stuff you listed.
    A iPhe is the rest of the stuff you listed and takes so work to communicate efficiently.

    For anything related to texting, get the blackberry. If you need a lot of apps. I would say the IPhone is the better option. But be prepared to get suckered in for anything that is Apple. It's their business model, so beware about that.

    I say get the passport for the social media stuff. You'll appreciate the accuracy of the keyboard, the hub with all your accounts at your disposal and more importantly, the battery life. Now for music and videos, and you might run into some limitations unless you download, oops I mean transfer those things to you phone. Plus you can throw a 128 gig micro SD card for more memory .
