Cheers, I feel exactly the same way, lol.
None of those issues here...buy one, you won't regret it!

I have 4 Passports and NONE of them have these issues outside of the screen flicker, which was an OS issue, not a hardware one and has long since been fixed. Basically, you could look at any device and wonder if it's going to have issues but you're never going to know until you buy it, so just do it if you think the Passport is for you.
There is no double typing. The new update fixed the flickering. The battery life really is awesome!!!! Only problem I have is a creaking back cover, camera that can't focus well, power button that takes 3 seconds to turn on (and because I'm impatient I press it after 2 seconds and it turns off the screen), strange bug with text messages not loading and not receiving, some apps not loading cause of "google play service" missing, and while on the phone trying to turn on speaker, the screen doesn't turn on for 3-4 seconds making me miss what the person was saying. Other than those problems, the phone is amazing!!

Like a lot of others here, I had the screen flickering issue, it's been long gone since the OTA update. I've not had a single hardware issue and I bought day 1. I feel like the screen lifting, double typing issues are hugely overblown by a very vocal minority, but then again if I had one of those issues, I'd probably be vocal about it too.
Buy the passport. It (unlike many of other devices I've owned) gets better with age. My only regret is I would have preferred a white one, but they weren't available early on.....but this is a very minor gripe.

Buying Passport is like buying lottery ticket. The only difference is, you have more chances of winning in 'Passport' than lottery. And if ever you got a defective one, you can refund or replace it, provided it is still under warranty...

I have 2 in my household that have been used for 7 months now with no major problems. Mine flickered once about 3 months ago and hasn't since (as others have said it was an OS issue not hardware).

I have none of the issues you listed.

Using one as primary phone ( the other is the Z30 which I love as well) since December. No issues so far. Apart from the flickering which was sorted out on last update.
Battery amazing. Lasts one day and I'm a heavy user. Don't know why but sometimes lasts longer others not so long. But one day is for sure. Using blend all the time when at office. So far so good.

I own a red passport. Never had these issues.

I've had the flickering screen, but after the latest update its gone. One thing that began to happen the other week black glue from the edge of my screen began to peal off. The screen didn't lift, but lots of rubbery type glue began coming out. As far as the performance of the device I'll say its alright. I have a lot of issue where my device freezes while trying to multitask. Even when I'm trying to refresh twitter and while waiting for it to refresh I'll go into a text message and my hub will freeze. I have freezing issues on a daily basis. Not running sideloaded apps anymore, also I have no leaked OS running. I have the latest official OTA update. I've had my device since maybe Feb. I def don't see it lasting the next two years as heavy as a user I am. I'm actually getting a Galaxy S6 Edge this week. I will put the Passport in the drawer and revisit it. I like the physical KB and I love using word processing on it and writing notes and emails. It just doesn't perform as well as I thought it would. I'm always on my device and it's not keeping up like I thought. Just recently I began receiving text messages very late, as well as receiving the same ones 3 or 4 times in a row. Could be a network issue, but I've had tmobile USA for years and only had the issue with blackberry devices. Anyhow I see you purchased the device already. You will love it coming from a q10. I would've recommended getting a Classic and saving a few bucks.
I have not had any issues serious enough of particular mention with by BlackBerry Passport since Dec 2014. In fact with successive beta updates, the device flies.

No problems with my Passport!
Buy it, I never had double typing problems, had a draining issue but that's been resolved, no flickering or screen lifting...
Only problem I have with my Passport is that I find myself in awe it's it's amazing beauty, I might crash one day while driving by starring at it
Safety first!

LoL y'all know I'm playing...
Flickering issue resolved with recent update. Double typing remains but controllable. Proximity sensor issue remains but I have learnt to manage it and live with it. Otherwise it's the best smart phone available.

Flickering issue is fixed after the latest update. Never have run into neither double typing nor lifting screen.
Cheers

The only issue i've had is the flickering which went away with the last OS update. No screen lifting, double typing, etc. My passport is the original release and was manufactured in November of last year. It is the best phone I have Ever owned. The best upside is my laptop is almost rendered useless due to this phone.

2 Passports for me....1 AT&T issued (work phone) and 1 purchased from Blackberry no double typing or screen flicker on either. Wonderful phone!
No be honest, I have owned every bb10 device that has been released in Canada, and I cannot relate to any issues I have heard or read about. Every device has worked flawlessly, the passport is hands down the best device I have owned! It will be a sad day when I have to change to a different device. But I can definitely see this thing lasting 2 year+.
I recently got a samsung s6- not the edge, use it for snapchat and mortal kombat x lol, other than that I will always default to passport!
The best way to really see how much ppl like the passport is to go on carrier websites and read real customer reviews, I don't think I have come across anything less than a 4.5-5 star review! It is trending better in reviews that the most of the latest high end smartphones out there!

Haven't had any issues what so ever, love the Passport great phone and stands out from the rest of the iPhones and Droids.
Yes its a little big for some pants, however it hasn't been a major issue for me.
Care to donate one of them to me Bla1ze? (or at least trade something? :-))
Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.2558
I own six (6) BB Passports now within my account. Used heavily daily. NONE of which have any of the mentioned issues.
