Was thinking of picking up a passport but the shop blackberry ca site comes up as unsecured on chrome and firefox. Not really wanting input my CC info to a site which chrome states "this sites identity cannot be verified"

    Any info would be appreciated.

Somewhat unrelated. Isn't Chrome by Google? Do you trust Google?
I prefer not to use Chrome in linux...

I looked at ShopBlackberry about an hour ago using the PlayBook browser and got the security certificate problem too. It looks like the certificate is expired. This was on the Canadian site and I think the expiry was December 2013.

I just checked using a Mac and Firefox and there were no warnings. Maybe it was a temporary glitch.

According to the website when I've bought and just checked it's secured with 256bit encryption with Geotrust.

I didn't run into this when I bought mine - but then I used PayPal.

The Passport Browser brings up a certificate error as well. I got this by clicking through the pop up Black Friday Passport sale add on the main BlackBerry site. Might just be a glitch in the pop up server.
