    My brother purchased a Passport a few months ago (and loves it so far) but has an odd problem that just started today. He can access the quick settings menu, but can't open the Settings app through clicking on any of the quick settings options or through the Settings app icon. When he clicks on a setting in the quick menu, nothing happens, and when he clicks on the settings app, it briefly appears as an active frame and disappears without opening.

    He's tried rebooting several times, but no luck. Any recommendations?

    He's not running any leaks, but has loaded Snap and a few Android apps.

    He just removed Snap and the Android apps he had and restarted - no luck.

    Do a hard reset by holding the volume up and down button in together and hold them in until you see the blue loading circle

    So when its in the active frame point, long press the little x on bottom right, hold it for a sec or two, to totally close the app.

    No luck there either, the active frame only appears for a split second - no time to click the X at all.

    Well i'm afraid you might have to do a security wipe some how or hook up to BB link and do a software restore.
