    Sensor failure-img_20150417_003737.png

Works after a restart then dies again happened after my 10.3.1 update, and is inconsistent, keyboard fails to light up in the dark.

    Anyone got this? Any solutions?

Read about it a lot and searched a lot and now am more confused... is it a software bug as BlackBerry is claiming or is it a hardware issue and I should send mine for a service/replacement?

Your best bet is software, maybe load another OS and see if it persists

This is the biggest drawback of this instrument. Also the double typing. Else it's a good mobile to use. Appears that the issue could be a hardware issue. Even a basic samsung phone does not fail on the sensor issue.

It's not stated anywhere that's it's a definite hardware issue.

Actually it's stated as a software problem on the knowledge database but the truth is I've loaded all os's short of 10.2 and I still have an intermittent problem wight eh sensors!

I'm starting to think it's a hardware issue.
