    I tried sending a picture via texting and the quality of the picture was greatly reduced. Is there anyway of sending higher quality pictures?

    MMS quality is solely controlled by your cell carrier.
    Email or upload the image to a photo share site are you best options.
    BBM, if both parties have it, is another.

    Good luck! MMS is not for sending high quality pictures!

    So annoying. My family all have iPhones and can send high quality pics to each other (I guess it partly goes through iMessage or something?) but when they send them to me on my Passport or I send one to them, it's not crisp and clear. This is 2015....how is this happening.....

    iPhone = iMessage
    To do the same from a non-iPhone, you have to use another messaging service.
    BBM will let one send a picture and the receiver can choose to download the high quality version of it, and works on BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android. Windows soon.
    Both above are not using MMS.

    MMS was never meant for pictures of the size that is normal for today's camera and computers, it was meant for little, low rez, pictures on little phone screens.
    If you want to have the option of sending high quality pictures via MMS, you will have to get your carrier and the receivers carrier to upgrade their MMS system.

    It's probably because your screen is bigger!

    I agree. Higher resolution and bigger screens will make low res images look like an atari game.

    I just sent myself an MMS TXT and the picture I received was exactly the same as the photo I sent.

    As some have suggested it may be an issue with your carrier requiring the photo to be resampled.
