I performed a security wipe last night and woke up this morning and it was stalled at 90%. Did a reboot and it started over and now is stuck at 93% after 7 hours. Any suggestions? I plan on loading a back up after it completes but it looks like it won't ever make it.

Not sure if it will let you... but you could try an autoloader.

Run the Autoloader and when it gets to the Boot Rom windows. Plug in your phone and then turn it on. Maybe it will catch the OS before it loads and replace it.

Try volume up and down to restart the phone.
I had my phone stall at about 25% one time.
    Power button was non responsive.
Volume up and down at the same time until I saw the phone shutting off did the trick and it restarted at normal rate.

Actually if I remember correctly there were only bits and pieces of information/apps messed up or gone.

I restarted the wipe a second time and it went smooth second time around.

Thanks bud. Lol. Gotta laugh to keep from crying. I have only had this phone about two weeks and most of my data was on my SD card. Lol. It's not like I work at the White House. What in the world is it still deleting? Geez.

My thoughts exactly. It stalled at 98%. I held the top and bottom volume buttons and restarted it and it blew through 50% in about twenty minutes. Then got slow again. When I went to bed at midnight, it was at 96 % and I woke up at 7:30 and it had only moved up to 97% which is where it still is. I guess the phone is messed up. I don't know what else to do.

Ok.. what was the OS you were on? I guess some version of 10.3.2!!!
So if you are on that version... do the SIC wipe first and then download an autoloader and load the OS
