So on the q10, to launch a program, do a Web search, etc, I just had to swipe up and start typing. With the passport though it saves your last search when you swipe up.

The end result is that you have to swipe up and swipe left as many times as you have words in the search box, and then proceed with typing in your search term. Is there a setting I can change to fix this? I hate hunting for icons.

    Thanks!

Same issue I had. I went to settings>BlackBerry Assistant>turn off save usage history.

    Hope that works

So, I tried this a couple days ago to no avail. It still leaves what I previously searched in the search box.

Strange, it worked for me. Maybe has to do with the OS I'm on. PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.1016

Oh cool... How do you like the 10.3.1.1? I've been trying to find out how to load that thing.

Are you talking about after you open up the browser?

Edit. Oh, I see, in the "assistant"?
Mine clears each time I re open it.

Captain reboot your device by holding both up and down volume buttons and let it reboot. Hopefully that will fix your issue.

Maybe I am confused, but I don't swipe up to search, I just start typing what I want to search for. No replacing anything has been required. I'm on 10.3.0 still. For apps, I type the app name, for contacts I type their name. If I want to text, I can just type "text" and a name, or "email" and a name to send email. I don't seem to have to deal with history.

I was just trying to figure that out. On my Z10 at the bottom of my screen was the 'magnifying glass' search icon. I used to hit that and go search.
    Thanks for your help.
I just typed. The first time it gave me an introduction to assistant, but after that type the word I want and a whole of those appears.
    How cool is that?
