How can I change the default browser search engine from bing to Google?

To change the search engine, start searching in the home screen. As you type, a search engine list will appear on the top right. Select your preferred engine, and from now on that will become the default.

While in the browser type a few letter and you will see in the top right corner a drop down menu. Tap on that and choose your default search.
