honestly, BBRY has to work on the camera app, as our current camera app is TOO PLAIN!!! No ISO settings, no WB settings, no EV settings, no panorama settings, no focus width settings, no f/ settings, no shutter speed settings, come on.. BBRY really has to work to put these in to the new 10.3.3 OS, don't let us down BBRY!!!

Could be me, but seems like the SE's colors are more vivid.

I agree. First thing I noticed was the face in the middle looked much better in the SE photo.

Right, but how. It's using the EXACT same hardware. I think most folks thought that meant a HUGE change... thus far it seems so subtle it's almost negligible.

I thought he said something along the lines of:

We are working on a phone with a great camera,.. but also working on improving the Passport's camera.

So basically the other phone he was referring to is not the Passport (and they were certainly not working on the Passport SE at that point), unless he sucks at his Twitter 'sentence' structure.

I'm going with the lens smudge hypothesis. But, in fairness, the lens is a very important part of the camera kit. The sensor is the same, but did we ever confirm that the glass is the same?

Shots on my SE are also better than the OG, noticeably.

Yes i have, on my friend's i6 and i found that the camera app on iOS isn't too bad at all, at least it has the EV/focus light settings which kinda helps a lot when taking photos in a strong lighting area, something that our camera app sucks big time.. sorry to say that BBRY..

technically "OG" is original gangster... dunno why people are trying to abbreviate 'original' like that when it's supposed to be written "orig."

You'd be wrong. The lens flange and sensor are not on the same plane.

He said he was going with the "lens smudge hypothesis." I'm just assuring you guys that the issue wasn't my thumb smudging part of the protective glass.

Just a quick update, the OG that I tested against the SE was in fact defective. I received a replacement OG, and it's iq is more in line with the SE. Sorry for the hubbub.
