I have a 64gb SanDisk but it is getting flaky (loses ability to save photos to card, play media, etc) resolved usually by reboot... 1 year inn OG Passport... just ordered Lexar 128gb SDXC UHS-1 Class 10...

If the card comes with a USB reader (some do), just plug the phone and the card in at the same time and copy everything from the card in the phone to the new card. It will take a while, especially if you have a lot to move. Hopefully you have USB 3.0 on your computer.

Card comes with adapter... I have USB reader/writer & also have OTA cable... would that be a good way? Also, what about formatting? Does the passport Do exFAT or do I need to use the computer?

Format the new card in the phone. Usually is the best way to insure proper function.

I recently upgraded my wife's card from a slow 16 to a fast 64. I used my mac and copied the whole thing over using select all and drag and drop. Worked great. Then I got her a classic to replace her q10.
