Remember if you use an autoloader it will wipe the device!

Make sure you make a backup of anything you don't want to lose beforehand.

You could also do a Blitz with a program called Sachesi on your Mac. Here is a link for the latest OS for ALL BB10 devices including yours: https://mega.nz/#!JgYHzJzT!Wh1-ri1Fi...WXfQN089Jh38I4 . Download this file and use the Mac version of Sachesi here: https://github.com/xsacha/Sachesi/releases to drag and drop the Blitz file for installation. If you search CB here, you can find more info on the Blitz, which is a non-destructive method (similar to OTA) of upgrading. If you don't want 10.3.3 you can find older OS Blitz files by searching CB. Good luck!

BlackBerry has ALWAYS taken 1-2 weeks to let the operating settle in. It will be fine.

It has already been 2 weeks and the phone is still getting hot quickly as well as drains a lot of battery when put overnight. Definitely need to update to another version to see if this can be fixed

Something is up. Have you tried a reload? I have a PP SE and this is from today's usage. No phone but lots of emailing.

Yeah reloaded several times. I think I will have to upgrade to 10.3.3 but haven't had time for that.

Mine is BlackBerry Passport black Version.

This is my usage for today, no call, average usage and it doesn't seem right on BlackBerry Passport

Have a look at you CPU tab in device monitor.

Look at current and wait a few seconds for the numbers to settle down. It is usually under 10% and you'll see if any applications are running wild.

My BlackBerry Passport had gone crazily stupid on the very first 2 weeks, excessive heating, battery drains; but now everything got back to its greatness of this device. The batter is now always lasting for at least 2 days, no heating and any other problems. Special thanks to you guys.

Just remember, you have to be technical when using this device. You have to understand the sachesi, how to install .bar file, what version of Android apk that working & such. Moving on from iOS to BlackBerry OS is pretty rough. I used to own iPhone 6 & once I get to my BlackBerry Passport, I spent a lot of my time to figured out the whole thing. But if you succeed in understanding how this whole things work, it's FAR better than that ****ty iOS.

If your phone ever starts acting crazy or the battery life takes a dive, start uninstalling apps by the most recently installed android apps.
