Thinking on fixing it myself. I can't be waiting days or weeks for it to be sent back. I have replaced screens before so I am gonna go for it.

Voiding your warranty seems like a good plan?

    Good luck.

All done just very gently lifted the corner and very carefully added a very thin amount of clear silicone. No need to disassemble.

OP could you do a follow up in about a month so people outside of the 30 day return period can see if this is a good DIY fix?

    Thanks and good luck!

^ Good idea to use silicone, it's flexible so the repair is less likely to fail if there is some torsion. However, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the potential for acetic acid vapors inside the phone as the silicone cures.

I will see how it holds up. The amount of silicone I used was super minute. There is a very small surface area available on the bezel and that's partly the issue. The adhesive used at the factory just didn't have enough area to hold.

So I need to take my cracked screen in to get fixed (the white replacement screens are finally trickling in from suppliers), and I'm wondering what the repair place will do to put it back together...
Will they use the same stick methods? Maybe they have stickier double sided tape? Or put more for a bigger surface contact area?

I have thought about it and realized I use spray lens cleaner on my screen. That may have added to the issue. From now on I will keep to dry microfiber cloths may help end this lifting issue.
