    I've noticed this last couple of days that my screen is varying in brightness whenever it pleases, it's going really very bright at times and then settling back down.

    Anyone else had this fault?

    There is an automatic brightness control that you can't turn off. You can use slider (Settings -> Display or Quick settings) to determine preferred maximal brightness level. Maybe, this is a light sensor glitch. Have you tried to reboot the phone?

    Rebooted twice and still doing it. I've ran all the tests in the bbve app and I think the light sensor is having an issue I don't know if that is the reason though it might explain it.

    do you have a screen guard on? if so, are the proper cut outs made?
