I know on my old junk iphone 6 I was able to use an app that saved youtube videos onto the phone so I can watch at a later date and without a connection. Does BlackBerry have anything like that? Thanks for the help.

I checked it out. I assume the paid version is where I can save videos for offline use?

If you're willing to install an android app, I'd recommend Youtube downloader. You can select the format and resolution, can save only the audio or both then extract the audio separately. It's nice, I like it and it only asks for shared files permission. If you don't like having it installed all the time, you can save the apk on the device and install it whenever you are in the mood then remove it afterwards.

Easiest way, no apps required, totally free, works on pretty much every browser from any device. Take the url of the video, delete the "www." or the "m." portion and replace with "ss", then hit enter, it will take you to website that will let you pick which format you want to download, which will save to downloads folder.

I use www.clipconverter.cc. I bookmarked the address and I just copy the YouTube url and download the video.
