Try to disconnect both your Roku and your BlackBerry and connect to the same WiFi network. If you want the 5 GhZ network for your Roku, connect to that with your BlackBerry. If you want the 2.4 GhZ for your Roku, connect to that with your BlackBerry. Wait a bit and then go try to connect to Miracast. Worked out for me.

I think it's the 10.3 update.

Miracast works on my Z30 running 10.3 too.

It previously didn't work streamed to my Android stick.

No, try to connect through Wi-Di first then Miracast. Maybe it'll work?

I'm not have any luck with my Q10. My roku 3 is wired in (not wifi), screen mirroring enabled, but my q10 doesn't see it. My q10 is on WiFi, same network.

Do you live in US.. Miracast on Roku is in beta and I believe is only available for the US customers..

I use a smart DNS on roku to get US content, Miracast worked for a couple of times but now I just get this "cannot connect" error..

I can't get this to work. Just bought the streaming stick. I can see photos and play music through the Roku app when downloaded but if I try to stream video or use miracast it won't connect.

I see the device under wifi direct but it won't let me connect. It also asks for a network password. Is this the same as my password for the whole network?

If anyone can advise or has step by step directions on getting the passport to work for streaming please let me know.

I have tried unplugging and rebooting already.

Oh and I am in Canada.

Is it confirmed that the Roku streaming stick does not include Miracast in Canada? Why would they make the product different like that? I am considering this and the Microsoft Wireless display adapter. Any other Canadians have experience with this device? Thank you.

Not Canadian but just picked up the Microsoft Wireless display and works great out of the box. Streaming Netflix and everything else without any issues. I have found that when streaming video my 5 GHZ connection is the best.

I'm wired as well. Just switched to WiFi and it worked no issue... too bad, as I would rather have it wired.

Seems to work good though, typing this out on my BlackBerry Passport while watching the output on the television screen!
