I'm not sure if this was posted before. I called a few Rogers Plus stores and got different answers. Finally spoke to a manager and she told me only "select" Rogers Plus stores will be selling the Passport. So if the Rogers Plus near you are telling you that you have to pre-order online and have it shipped to their store, they are correct. It's pretty damn sad considering Rogers had an excellent relationship with BlackBerry back in the Curve and Bold days. And now they're sleeping with Apple. Rogers still have the most BlackBerry users and to treat us like this is insulting. I voiced my opinion on twitter and told them please do not treat BlackBerry users any less than iPhone or Android users.
They thanked me for my feedback, but it will probably go no where.

Having said that, I'm glad TELUS is doing right by BlackBerry. Way to support a great Canadian manufacturer. And I hope TELUS takes the number one spot one day. Rogers is feeling too comfortable at the top, IMO.

Rogers store in the east end of Toronto said they are not ordering any. He told me to contact a Rogers store closer to downtown Toronto.

Okay so my friend in Waterloo called the Rogers at Conestoga Mall asking if his Passport reservation had come in around 2, and the employee didn't check and simply stated, "No. Have a good day." and hung up.
He called back around 5:15 and a different rep actually checked and they did have it, so he asked their hours and he said they were open until 6:30. He's on the road around 5:55 and called making sure they're open and turns out he's a new employee and they close at 6, he was just reading his schedule. So he'll get his tomorrow when I do too :P

Not true. Most of the time TELUS will make you change your plan. They REALLY want you on their new shareplus plan.m

TELUS wants $70/month while Rogers wants $60/month.

Bell is the least competitive of the big three.

The deal with TELUS is if you want to do a HUP, your bill must be $70 before taxes. So, if you have the 6gb promo plan for $65, all you have to do is add a $5 add on and you're good to go. Rogers and Bell on the other hand wants your right kidney and some sblood. J/K. LOL.

Rogers is famous for raking cutomers over the coals. They have the dominance service wise and they know this. When I was doing a hup in July I had an existing share plan which held 2012 pricing eventhough at 60$ pricing,the hup system could not override the hup. It was also thought that dealers could also approve but the system would not process. In fact a memo went out that week with a change that this was no longer the case and customers hell or high water have to move to a current pricier share plan.

The forth row of keys on a normal keyboard is just the alt,uppercase,symbol,space,etc. The typing of letters and words has always been on three rows. The space bar placement and using the screen to select all symbols and numbers is the only thing to get used to.

True, but still takes some time to adjust, but it's now day 2 and I'm staring to like it a lot more

So we both got our Passports and loving them!
Both got the $50 off since we "price-matched" telus @ BestBuy who's site is showing it at $200
Got our free speakers and all set up! Just downloading all of my Android apps now.
Keyboard for sure is going to take some getting used to, but I can already feel how it'll be efficient, so patience is going to be key for now :P
