Considering most people are right handed would it not make more sense to place the hub on the right side? Or at least allow one to change this in their preferences? My thumb can barely reach the back-arrow on the bottom left without doing finger calisthenics.

Not really, crunching your thumb up to swipe right to left is kinda tricky for people with big hands, left to right is easier

I think this was brought up as a suggestion by CB users when BB10 was first released but it was in respect to left-handed users. I can see the argument both for and against it on a Passport. It would be nice to have as an option but I think it would require a lot of re-working of the OS. I don't think its just as simple as putting the hub on the left. I could however be wrong as I don't know what is involved in coding and creating an OS.

Well, perhaps at the very least the ability to place the back-arrow on the right side. Considering its width, It would make life a lot easier as I've almost dropped my phone reaching over. Otherwise, this is a near perfect device.

I believe that in almost any advertising I have seen for the Passport it has been shown as a two-handed device. Maybe this is why they haven't changed the button location. To keep uniformity throughout the OS and all the devices.
