I always liked the square version better. Rushed in and bought the AT&T version cause I could get it on the next program and not have to splurge 500 plus bucks all at once. But, my 14 days are almost up and I keep dreaming of the square beauty. So, I already ordered my new PP via amazon and it will be here tomorrow!! Taking the rounded corners back. Anyone have an opinion on which you like better? Let me here it. Thanks!!

I have both my personal phone is the original square. Work phone is AT&T rounded corners. Much prefer the original.....just feels better. I think it's thinner too. I think you made the right decision.

They're actually the same thickness. It's an optical illusion from the tapering of the side rails on the original version.

I'm pretty sure at&t will charge you a restocking fee. T-Mobile has the fee of $50, but that's better than Amazon's restocking fee of $153.

But the square one, to me, is the better looking phone, it stands out and is really unlike any other phone, whereas the at&t one just looks like a bigger Q10 to me.

I actually like the look of the AT&T one, and I've read some people saying the keyboard is better on it. But I'd rather have a factory unlocked phone (especially since it gets all the updates first)

I like the square one better too. I think that the rounded one looks a little bit on the typical side. You have more options with colors and cases too with the square one also.

ATT restocking fee will be 35$.

I prefer the square version simply because of the updates and of course with it being unlocked helps me out a lot since I travel out the country frequently. With the ATT version and their phones in general you have to wait until your 2 year contract is fulfilled or with the NEXT program you have to wait until it's paid off. Form factor the ATT version is quite more comfortable. I'm sure you will enjoy the squared version just as much as the ATT version.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, that 35 dollar restocking fee sucks but oh well. I just didn't want to settle and then be bummed out wanting the square one.

I have dropped the original on hard surfaces. The I beam takes the hit and the phone is never damaged. I have minimal scuffs at corners but that is the purpose of the design.

BlackBerry deserves credit for this unique design.

The keyboard is better on the original, unlocked Passport. A lot better in fact. I've used both of them. The ATT has weak, mushy keys. The OG has tactile, satisfying keys.

I have the original and a friend got the AT&T design. I didn't think it would matter to me. I was wrong. The sides seem, thicker, I didn't evens notice the rounded edges. I guess I couldn't see past the sides. She is very happy w/ it (came from 5S) and I did what any true fan would do. Together we built it w/ her wants and needs. In the end she taught me a thing or two. Win/win.

You're better off with the square version because more choices of cases for the original. I wish Seidio make a convert case/holster for the AT&T version...right now they only offer the surface case/holster which is nice too....but I prefer the additional protection of the convert.

They're repackaging some of them and trying to sell them as new.

It can't be good for their relationship with their carriers and retail partners though.

Well, so much for the unlocked version getting the updates first. I got my PP today and the first update is 10.3.1.1779. I was hoping for the 10.3.2

And, I'm not too worried about returning it. I bought another in its place. And the revenue goes directly to BB instead of AT&T getting a slice.
