It pops up if you touch the keyboard, it's a feature ,make sure to keep your fingers from resting on the keys.
I would think that usually but this doesn't happen with any other keys matter of fact it's not happening now as I type this...it tends to happen when I text and BBM

I just bought my Passport today, and I notice it happens more often than not (especially in Whatsapp). Has this continued to happen with your Passport? I have a squeaky P, delete and return keys as well. Would guys suggest returning the handset and getting a replacement?

Thank god, you mentioned this. I thought it was just me. I experienced it a lot in BBM. Other like words, CB is ok. Not sure about whatsapp. Seldom use it. I created a thread yesterday about reinstalling BBM, I thought it was my BBM app, I guess not then.

100% OP. Mine does the same and so does my GF's Passport. Must be a bug of some kind. That's all I can think or overly sensitive key... who knows.

I will keep testing to see when and in what apps it appears and I will report. Do you guys have loose/squeaky keys on your devices? There might be some correlation between the two,who knows.

Both our Passport have done this from day one. Other than that the keyboard is fine. No issues here.

Does this issue solved in 10.3.1. If you guys don't have a similar experience on .908 please leave comment as well. I wonder if it is a faulty hardware?

I haven't encountered this problem with mine. I've had it since launch. On the other hand, I don't use Whatsapp.
Could this issue be app related and thus nothing to do with the Passport or Blackberry? It sounds like an app problem to me.

I also don't have this issue, nor have I ever had it. Wonder if its a fault in the keyboard? If this was a more widespread issue, I'm sure we would have seen multiple threads by now.
I wonder if your tapping a key before without realizing it? You do know a double tap on the keyboard brings up the magnifying glass?
Not just whatsapp, but also bbm and any other apps that uses lots of return key while typing. I am sure it's not apps. Either the error in my os or the hardware. I will do fresh install when the 10.3.1 official arrive. Hope is just an os thing. Don't want to replace it, already attach with the current passport.

Yeah, I do know about the double tap. Definitely not it, or else it won't only happen to return key. Does anyone had this experience and solved it after reloading os or upgrading leaked os? Please enlighten

Same issue here, what I noticed is that the problem appears mostly in chat apps : gtalk, watsapp, bbm.. generally the apps that needs the physical key to send the message. Hopefully in 10.3.1 will correct this.

Just test it on docs to go. It works normally, no return key error. Only happened in chat apps: bbm whatsapp for me. Just noticed double typing as well, letter "t" for me, very seldom though. Since the auto correct help me correct it, I did not notice it at first. I don't know if they are correlated.
