Replaced defective Passport with new Passport; now new one wont read my 64GB Micro SD Card
I got my 1st Passport late November. Installed a new Sandisk Micro SD XC 64Gb card from new; took many photos, always stored them in the card.
Did frequent full backups with Blackberry Link to my Macbook Pro.
Passport started to fail on me, made me do complete reinstalls many times. Every time I'd reinstall, and restore the full backup, I noticed the full backups did not include the photos saved to the Micro SD Card. But it wasn't an issue, since, every time after a full restore, I'd reinsert the Micro SD Card and I'd have access to all the photos in it.
Then one day, the passport died completely. No amount of reset / restore would bring it back to life. I sent it back to Amazon, got a full refund, and ordered a new one.
Got the new replacement Passport today; did a full restore, which worked. Then, when placing the 64 GB Micro SD card in, it doesn't recognize the card... (which always worked on the other Passport)..... I still have to check and see whether the card itself can be read on another device like a USD SD Card reader on a Windows system; will check tomorrow.
This is very frustrating...
