I must say I've always struggled to understand the difference, and always preferred to use Reminder to set, well, reminders.. as it's much quicker than Calendar, but I'm realising it may not sync with Gmail using Reminder, while using Calendar it does. Is there a way I can convert all my appointments (especially the repeat ones) set in Reminder to Calendar?
And while we're at it, why did they feel it was necessary to put two apps which do the same thing in the first place? I wouldn't have reminders set in two different apps if they hadn't.

Just use a calendar that's set to sync with an email account. Ditch the reminder app.

I probably will but now is there a way to transfer the reminders set on Reminder into the main calendar app?

Also the Reminder app can't actually be ditched as it's a core app no?

Can't be ditched just hide it away. Far as transferring reminders, you'll have to wait for somebody else here to speak up sorry man

I googled "outlook tasks" but nothing specific came up, are you saying I should install Outlook on a computer then sync it in some way with Reminder then transfer from Outlook to Gmail?

    Exchange. Works great for me.
BTW Remember is painfully slow when sorting on Due Date. Anyone knows a remedy for that?

I still don't understand the answer to my original question, since I'd like to swith from Remember to Calendar as Remember doesn't sync with Gmail, how to transfer Remember reminders to Calendar and/or have them synced to Gmail.
I browsed Outlook email on BBWorld but a lot of stuff comes up and not sure which one I should install. It kinda of looks complicated, I might as well do it by hand since Remember gives a clear list of the tasks (Overdue and Later). BTW does Calendar offer the same convenient list of tasks? I can't find where that is.
