I ask the question in my title. Are you actually getting anything else with the red passport other than its colour for an extra $100? Do you guys think it's worth an extra $100? Red passport owners: what justified your purchase?

Hells yeah!!! Looks stunning!!!

I'm happy enough with my black, but that red looks absolutely killer. Usually I feel that paying a premium for a different colour isn't warranted, but in this case I'd be more than happy to pay it. Though, I'll just wait until (hopefully) red parts become available, then make my very own.
Nice click bait try (grabbed me!).
The only justification will be opinionated and really have no value other than for folks to argue and insult or accept their choice.
I have a friend who was raised in Cincinnati (Reds) and a Stanford alum (Cardinal). That was his justification. As a Cubs fan I could not agree, hence mine is black.
interesting justification!! Go yankees from Canada!! :D
It is if you like the red!

It's exactly the same price as the black or white one on ShopBlackberry. With the coupon code, it's $499 US

I got my red edition for $650 Canadian. Not bad deal I think.
It's only worth what someone will pay for it.
Down here you could probably add $300 more if they were purple & gold (LSU) or with purple gold n green (Mardi Gras).
I like red ok but down here Red = Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ohio St, etc............ a few people around Lafayette, LA (Rajun Cajuns) might like it.
What coupon?

If you want attention wear red,#1 rule, always works, haha

Kind of racist that the company charges more money for a particular color.

Think resell value. If/when you sell the phone will you abe able to get the $100 back or be able to sell it quicker. This is in addition to the idea "Is it worth $100 to you to have the awesome color?"

Something is only worth what someone else will pay for it.
People have paid more for a red passport therefore it is inherently worth what they've paid.
So, to answer your question, yes. But only to those willing to pay for it.
I happen to prefer red but the black is phenomenal as well. I loved the soft black back but it picked up debris too easily for my taste..

Worth it for sure, ownership marks you out as a king amongst men

In fact its not. Red is the most expensive color to produce. A prime example is an Automotive paint comparison, you will pay a premium for that Red Corvette or whatever else. All red color costs more to make.
The Red Passport just pops.. It is a personal preference everyone needs to evaluate.. For me it was a no brainer since I loved my red Lumia 920 and until the Red Passport showed up there wasn't another red phone out there. Not to mention all the excellent qualities the Blackberry OS brings to the table..

If you have the money to blow for one, then I don't see why it's not worth it

Well ,I paid $618 ,all in for mine ,CDN ,and that's already a ton of cash, but I wish I could have a red one for the same price. Not going to spend more than that.Red and Black is the ultimate, lol
If you like specialty items, then yes. That is, if you're accustomed to doing so and can afford it, otherwise save some cake and get a black one, like me! LoL

I guess it comes with personal preference.
I remember long time ago when me and a friend went to this some sort of club. A guy approach us and offer us ladies. We don't really have a plan but out of curiosity, my friend asked where are these ladies. Then this guy pointed those two ladies sitting in bar. One is brunette and the other one is having a reddish hue hair. As for the pricing, the reddish hue hair is expensive by $100. Again, out of curiosity, since both of them are female and having the same 'parts', my friend asked why the reddish hue hair is quite expensive. And the guy just replied, "because it is not only her hair is reddish hue"...
