It's called the Limited Edition Red BlackBerry Passport. Now, is that because they are planning on stopping production of the red one soon? Or is it just a marketing stunt? I really want one but I have to wait a few months before buying and I don't want it to suddenly disappear from the shelves when I'm ready to buy. Has there been any word on this? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't seem very limited to me. I bought mine a month ago but there still seems to be no shortage of them on shop blackberry.

It would be limited by the number of people who want to buy one.

It's any ways a limited edition phone, black, red or white. Since not many are selling.

Shouldn't judge sales from the context of one country.

It seems you can't get it from carriers. It is also more expensive so they probably produce more black Passports at the factory. Even if they didn't stop producing the red version, these factors are enough to make it limited production. The AT&T version could have been termed a limited edition too if AT&T hadn't put their name on it.

I hope they never stop producing it makes sense to have Valentines, Christmas, summer sales etc on the red version.

    I'm not sure, but I don't care.

It's beautiful even if millions of other people had them.

Im not judging. I'm just happy that for not too much money, any BlackBerry user has something very exclusive, that too many people do not have. Hence.

And a red passport will be an even more exclusive one. Because being a bbq5 user, I've not seen even one passport in the flesh, with anybody I have met so far.

    Not one.
