1: wide physical keyboard for accurate two handed typing.
2: square screen, best form factor for small size screen, except for media consuption.
2: form factor: wide enough for two handed use, but not too tall, still pocketable, well balanced.
3: excellent, premium build quality, eye catching, elegant silver frame.
4: best os with the best available hw, excellent speed, hub, ergonomic and fast gesture operation
    5: excellent mic and sepakers
    6: excellent battery life
7: I can take horizontal videos with normal holding, avoid ridiculous rotated records with portrait position. I hate them and Internet is full of portrait phone videos with two large black side stripes.
8: the play/pause button on side. Often go sleep hearing music and when I almost fall a sleep, just push the button, no need swiping on screen.
    9: touch sensitive keyboard

Hello yes very nice and have a PPSE. Although seems the future is BlackBerry Android. Looking forward to getting a BlackBerry KEYone!

I have the AT&T version and it is virtually the same as the SE though not as pretty. Like mine for all the reasons you do and many more. I tried a Windows 10 Lumia 950XL for a couple months. It has better specs but has too many annoyances and seemed like I was clicking and swiping on it twice as much as the PP. The PP is quick, simple and smooth to operate. A pleasure to use.

Thank you for starting a conversation where we can just celebrate this device. Hopefully the BB10 bashers will stay away. Slim chance, I know.

Everybody on CB that haven't just joined in the last 24 hours knows BB10 is done. All the captain obvious comments are, at best, banal.

You do not have to share everything with Google, Apple or microsoft.
    The cool factor.
Comes bundled with the most important apps.
    The notifications LED.
    The mighty keyboard.
App permissions are explained for most of the apps. If an app needs access to your SD card, for example, you know why.
Extremely easy to learn to use the phone. This goes for every BB10 phone.
All of these are pro beside the other already mentioned.

If the app deficiency and outdated hardware can be overlooked then it's a great phone.
BB10 isn't dead as of yet. But it's getting there.

The passport is the coolest phone I have ever had. The second cool one was a Nokia 6250.
    Anyway cool is subjective.

everybody got replacement unit for screen lifting! I got screen lifting on Lenovo, why screen lifting is so associated with PP.

Wait, did BB replace SE's with screen lift? Mine is doing it and is still well under warranty. If they even honor the warranties anymore that is...

What I meant to say manufacturer defects are not new thing, warranty cover that. Samsung S7 edge is proven explosive handset but I didn't see this much noise

Besides the screen lifting issue, and the fact that in some situations the frame gets really hot, I love my SE for the same reasons that the OP listed.

I agree fantastic phone! It's old, BB10 is old but so what? I have a iphone 6s for watching porn on, I like that phone too (I took a 7 back as I didn't like the home button and it was identical to the 6 for way more money). I'm at an age where having the newest phone going isn't what it was. I like the fact it's old tech, it still works great for me, I swap between this and a classic which is the best mobile phone ever made (phone not media device)! I've cracked my pp screen though which is gutting, haven't looked into fixing it but I know it's going to be expensive. Keyone is very interesting too, I've had bad experiences of android but it looks like a narrow SE, that's cool as f**k!

    ^lots to unpack there.

I have an OG passport and a few android phones but passport is my main phone, it reminds me of back in 06/07 where RIM were top of the food chain. Not because of marketing, or cool factor - it was because they were the best in mobile communications. It was like natural selection, the best rose to the top gradually over time

Just been to sell fridges to have a look. Very similar to the passport SE, it's a very nice phone, feels superb like the pp. Want one now. I was surprised how good the dtek 50 & 60 felt too.

I get the same TM emails you do about post count contests. Quantity over quality. I am a capitalist but not a fan in this case.
