Thanis, I don't believe the final product will look like the leaks. Look at the difference between the dev alpha c and the Q10. You might be right that the keyboard will remain straight. I didn't like the look straight so I curved it. Also I am not a graphics guy I downloaded the screen shot of a q10 and put it on the phone. I am not capable of making the screen that you want. My intent for the mock up was to really compare it to the Z10 size wise.

Also, when you fire up the 10.3 beta simulator, you’ll notice another square screen. This is for a new device with a 14401440 resolution and pixel density of 453 DPI.
    Horizontal resolution: 1440 pixels
    Vertical resolution: 1440 pixels
    Diagonal: 4.5 inches (11.43cm)
    Display size: 3.18" 3.18" = 10.13in (8.08cm 8.08cm = 65.32cm) at 452.55 PPI

Should be interesting if that pans out. With a small bezel it could be 3.25 -3.5 screen frame, plus the rows of keys beneath.

As thursak posted in another thread, here is a file from the setup app. As I mentioned, I'm sure it will look similar to the prototype.

Looks good! I imagine the keyboard to be similar to the ps3 controller keyboard where it is touch sensitive (can be used as track pad or in BlackBerry's case swipe up to complete word or switch to numbers and symbols, swipe left to backspace etc.). Would be additionally neat if each key was an lcd that changed similar to some high end computer keyboards - dynamic lcd keyboard

Lots of things to think about for Windermere. The good thing is all these photo leaks and renderings keep everyone guessing which creates interest. My bet is that the square boxy look is that of the Dev alpha model. The finished version might be square but will definitely look more polished. The other things to question is why the big boxy screen?. Is this for split screen options like bbm conversations? Maybe you can do group bbm splitting the images 4 ways. Their has to be reasons for big screen real estate. I would like to see split screen options. This really could be a phablet appeasing the playbook people. May be playbook buyers get a trade in deal on this device? See this is the types of questions they want to happen. This brings attention without big marketing dollars. I think more leaks and questions will follow. I see this being a big device launch and away to get a blackberry device back in the news. If they make something that all the other manufacturers have already in the same form factor does that create buzz?. No it just creates comparisons of 10 other similar devices by other manufacturers . we will see if this is the direction they go with this. To me this is marketing and so far it has added interest to an otherwise predictable device launch. If this was planned its brilliant if not its just good timing. Well done blackberry. Well done!!

This isn't samberry.... it's crackberry. BlackBerry is either introducing new screen sizes or they just throwing something out there hoping it will work.

If they release that fat device, it may just be the blackberry that pulls me back from Droidville. All I've ever asked for is a big phone with a phys-qwert, and this looks like it.

Just curious, what size is your pocket? That phone will fit in any adult clothing pockets quite nicely IHMO.
