So in your world, BlackBerry would keep pumping out handsets that keep driving them into the red, focus on security, market themselves like crazy, and keep with the status quo? In order to do that, there has to be profit and disposable money.
I come to my conclusions based on the fact that for the millionth time bb10 wasn't making BlackBerry ANY profit. ZERO. Nada. Zilch. It was going nowhere but down.
They tried the masses with the Z10/30 and Q10. They tried the CEO's and big shots with the Passport and Classic. They even tried catering to the low end users with the Leap, Z3, and Q5. Nothing worked. All the stories on their social media and all the expenses to be at MWC and other events were literally for nothing. They touted work wide, they touted the "Classic" keyboard and trackpad. They touted a full slab that was for "work professionals". Nothing took hold.
How can you justify them staying with bb10 and not trying something different to stay solvent?
