    Hi, everyone.
I come from z10 and now am using z30. Don't get me wrong, z30 is great, but it is always on low RAM and getting freeze. Mine shows 500-600mb RAM all of time and I do not have many apps.
Now, I am end up to buy the Passport for upgrading after 2 years on z30. But I am wondering about the RAM free on PP. Could anyone has experience tell me what RAM Free on your PP? And how many days do you need to reset yours to recover RAM?
    Thank you very much, ppl!
You guys have a great day!

1.2g is enough for not lagging and freeze?

Consider all other BB10 devices have 2 GB of RAM and the Passport has 3GB. That extra GB helps keeps things snappy.

It all depends on how a Passport owner use his phone. 1.2gb free of RAM is normal after a successful restart (hard reset).

It's been a couple of days since I restarted my Passport & I'm sitting with 895 megs of free RAM. I've never had the phone lag on me and I've seen my RAM in the 600's before.

If your Z30 is freezing, I don't think it is due to low ram based on your description. I think 2 GB is plenty of ram but the 3 on the PP should also be more than enough. If your Z30 was freezing it could have been for many reasons including a faulty app or bad OS install. I'd think you would be happy with 3 GB on the PP. I know I am with 3 GB on my Nexus 6.

I don't understand what is "hard reset"?
I turn my z30 off and wait a few minutes then turn it back on.

My z10 was good, Passport is even better. I am also using more android apps now so it needs more RAM.

Anyone has the Passport which is from Amazon? I am not sure if it will have LTE for AT&T carrier?
BTW, what will you pick between Red vs Black Passport?
    Really appreciate for all comments!

I'm not on AT&T but got mine (black) from Amazon during BlackBerry Friday deals last year.

Yes, the Passport from Amazon (or ShopBlackberry) will positively have the AT&T LTE bands. You're confusing it with the Z30 which doesn't have the AT&T LTE bands.

    Thanks, Sir.
So how about the RAM free on your Passport? And do you have too many apps (native + Android apps)? I am still wondering about this issue.
