Does the inside of your BB Hard shell case have extra material on the four corners? At first, I thought it was just packaging and tried peeling it off. That wasn't the easiest so just left it. Basically on the inside of the case each corner has what seems like an extra layer that expands a bit out. Anybody try to peel the inside corners off as, to me at least, it does look like packaging. I don't know. Maybe it is. I just left it though and put it on my Passport.

Sorry... I am waiting on a USB OTG to try to unlock my Z30 so I can back it up (unresponsive screen) then I can finally go get my Passport activated. Have another thread on that, so at this point all I can do is look at the Passport and the hard shell case lol. Just wondering if this is normal. Not sure what the back of the phone material is, but since I did leave it there and did not try forcing it off I don't know if it will leave marks if it is supposed to be picked off haha.

    Thanks! :-)

Edit: Just looked at some pics on shopblackberry and the inside looks smooth all the way through without any change from the middle to each corner. Maybe I am wrong and need to get it off? lol... as you can see, not much going on right now. Just waiting for another delivery.

I've seen several hard shells and they all have this. Nothing to worry about.

Cool, thanks! I think I am just bored waiting around for this USB mouse to backup my Z30 (unresponsive screen and need to unlock to get to link) and looking at the Passport just sitting there. Waiting to activate it, I did relook at the hard shell and looked like it was meant to be there. I picked at the one corner a little last night and it's a bit off, but no big. I may switch it to white at some point; works for now!

Hey what you are describing is the packaging....the actual hard shell in use has inner flush corners with the device.

Wait so you are saying that the inside of the hard shell which has some extra plastic expanding somewhat from each corner is actually part of the packaging and needs to be removed? I picked at the one corner and it seems like it is meant to be there. This is the inside of the hard shell and when on the Passport not noticeable. I guess it wouldn't matter either way; just saw a few threads making me think the back is "delicate" and wanted to make sure I would not cause any marks, etc. however minor.

The above poster is wrong. It is part of the shell. You can see that the serial number on the bottom is printed overtop of the feature. I'm not sure why the material is different there, but it is part of the shell.

That's what I was thinking so I just left it there. Thanks for confirming! Might try the white shell and see how that looks on the black at some point to change things up or wait to see what kind of accessories end up coming out for the Passport.
