    Hi all,
I want to buy an AUKEY charger which supports Quick Charge 2.0. Just wonder if our PP is integrated with this technology?

The Passpoert does not have support for quick charging. Charging at the higher currents used by quick chargers will increase the internal temperature of the battery, which can shorten its life.

Thanks. I thought snapdragon 801 will automatically support this technology on the device? There are some posts about this saying Yes, but I could not find any official info from BB so I'm very hesitate.

Use the playbook charger (with the yellow port)... unexpensive and very effective!

I could find nothing published by BlackBerry that said any of its products support quick charging. All smartphones have on-board electronics to protect the li-ion battery from overheating and catching fire or exploding. There is nothing stopping a charger manufacturer from selling a fast charger that they say is compatible with a BlackBerry product. There is also nothing stopping owners of smartphones from trading off fast charging at higher currents with increased internal heat and shortened battery life.
