Everything on all the time with no concern for the battery, but 2 hours of GPS/maps use is plugged in. Also plugged in while I sleep. Other than that, no battery saving habits used at all. Love it, love it, love it.

I guess I'm bit of a nut when it comes to conserving battery. I don't get bad battery life at all, so that's not the reason. I just enjoy finding new ways to save just 0.5% to 1% an hour lol

I believed i recently achieved battery nirvana. Unplugged my passport on Sunday 9am and battery still had 35% around 5pm on Monday.

Didn't do anything really different, actually operated the phone for couple hours during the day Sunday in the cold, ie utilizing the speaker to play streaming music.

I had Bluetooth off and i don't run android apps.

It is generally agreed that few thing eat lots of battery :
Location, LTE, poor signal - cellular , wifi and Bluetooth.
Also keep Push messaging to refresh on few hrly basis.
For HTC one 802 I use snapdragon app which customizes the app usage according to use and runs headless for controlling wifi.
On my HTC One 802 with brightness on auto and data 3G always on, and location occasionally on for maps, occasional wifi and no games I get about 50% battery at end on the day.

On my passport with similar configuration but location on I get about 2 days of full use.
You will love your passport .

It's very hard to use up the battery on this phone. I'm a light to moderate user though . Even when I was using Note 2, I'd still have 45% by midnight. You can be rest assured that you won't be panicking for a charger by end of the day.

It's not good idea to reach battery 0%, it may create major problem sometime. Many users have reported dead device particularly z30, not booting up after it had gone 0% battery. Be careful.

Agreed! The lithium ions may be irreversibly damaged if you let it go to zero. ALWAYS pay attention when the 20% notification comes on and charge immediately. Lithium ion batteries need to be charging constantly to maintain peak batt times. I like the BlackBerry rapid chargers like the yellow tipped playbook charger or travel charger, the premium charger and car charger.

Lithium ion batteries I have found work and perform better with rapid chargers.
