Can anyone confirm if the Passport supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology? it's not listed in the site but the Passport does use a Snapdragon 801.
I believe the new Passport Silver edition supports Qualcomm Quck Charge 2.0
I am using a new BBP Silver with a Samsung QC 2.0 charger and the charge time drops if you are looking at the battery status screen from 1 hour 10 min to 30 min when using the QC 2.0 charger.
I dont see any specific notification that it is "Quick Charging" other than the charge time being shorter.
When my Passport Silver Edition reaches 20% battery and I plug it in with the factory charger the remaining time to charge is around 3 hours. When I try Quick Charge 2.0 charger the time remaining to charge drops to around 1 hour 45 minutes.
I was very curious about the quick charge 2.0 so I use my wife's samsung galaxy note 4 quick charger. Went up to 60% from 9% in an hour plus. I felt that it charge faster than my standar charger. So, quick charge work on passport? Perhaps not quick charge 2.0, maybe quick charge 1.0.

That just looks like a regular charge with a high amperage charger. My car charger will charge as fast (1% per minute or so) and it's not 'quick charge'
you can use a higher amperage charger: ones for tablets/high battery capacity phones for example which will charge your phone faster but its still not Quick Charge.
