It depends on how well it runs Android apps. Right now I use an iPhone 5s (personal), a Moto X (corporate), and a Q10 (messaging). I badly want to drop down to a single primary phone (the Passport), but there are apps I can't function without that currently don't run on BB10.

I may be the only person on the planet that thinks the Passport is the perfect phone design. I use all my phones on orientation lock (I HATE rotating my device, don't ask me why), I am terrible with on-screen keyboards (3x as fast with a physical kb), I hate text entry on iOS/Android (without something emulating a trackpad, editing prior mistakes is quite difficult), I hate that scrolling/interacting requires blocking half the screen with my hand (fixed by the Passport's capacitive kb), and I even love square screens (see above hatred of rotation). I know I have very un-mainstream preferences, but basically every single element of the Passport design seemed to be made just for me. I really hope it can run the 5-6 apps that I can't function without so I can make it my main phone for many years.
You are not alone with that, I think the non curved design looks more professional on a lot of phones.I've always wondered why Samsung and Apple making better use of the physical home button (I.e use it as a trackback).

The passport looks gorgeous but the fixed battery and the non toolbelt are deal breakers, otherwise it would have been the perfect phone. If the rumors are true and the classic has a fixed battery plus underwhelming specs I would be very disappointed.

Only if the price is right. I am over overpaying for a phone with no apps. For the passport my limit is $599, that is simply my limit for a platform with no acceptable ecosystem.

Gotta get the Passport. I'm currently using a Q10 and it's good...im mean it's ok at getting the job done. it's newer technology compared to the 9900 series but man its hard to beat a trackpad for efficiency. Until the passport or classic hit the market the 9900 is by far the best device for gettin stuff done.

I own the 9900, q10 and the iPhone 5s; will the passport have the ability for netflix? Thats my main requirement. Most phones do email and internet, but I like having the ability to watch stuff while waiting at hockey rinks to officiate games and stuff. It's a great time waster. LOL

It won't be that side-load crap will it? I like to think I am fairly techs, but I gave up trying to get it to work on my Q10... wasn't worth the effort to me to continue to try since I own an iPhone.

I think the passport is great, but I'm looking for another device like the Q5 except with a little bigger screen. Say around 3"7 or so. Don't really like the "Tool belt" and the passport is too big for my taste

Definitely! The wife will have the Q10. Should be a good release. Especially if the iCelebs tweet against the iClone 6.

Yep, as soon as i can. My wife has already stole my Q10 and I am getting fed up typing on my Z10 - can't wait to get me a physical keyboard again, especially one that size to type on with two hands.

I've just switched back to my Q10. And I've been thinking more and more. I 'm interested but will end up probably spending the entire day in store playing with it just to see if it's not to big for me.

I may get a passport, I for sure won't be buying at launch. I will probably wait 12 months before price drops a little.

Depending on handling the device and seeing a few reviews the plan is to buy a passport.

    Great screen
    Great speakers
Great looking keyboard (wait for reviews)
    USB OTG (hopefully)
    Large battery
    Great specs
