Merry Christmas to you all and have a great new year. I just received a BlackBerry Passport as my Christmas present.
Any tips or things you all feel like sharing?
Does the keyboard get more like second nature? Right now I'm still adjusting to it.

Thank you, I have heard that it takes a while. I just want to know if after a few weeks will I be able to type as fast and good as I did with the BlackBerry Bold?

My advice is to just use it as much as possible for a while.

I had of course never used this new keyboard, and was used to the Q10 and all the other 4 rowed keyboards. I like to swipe down on it to access the symbols, and after a few weeks, I got used to the Passport keyboard completely. Now whenever I use my mom's Q10 to do something, it just feels so awkward to type on the 4 rowed keyboard, which also feels very tiny.

So I say use it for everything. Use the keyboard to scroll down, flick words. By doing this, you're training yourself to use all the features of the keyboard. I still think the keyboard is amazing, and I've gotten so used to it that I'm holding off on the Classic because things like swiping backwards to delete words is something I use all the time, and I don't want to miss it when I'm on the Classic.

Seriously this is probably one of the best advices and yet so simple, so THANK YOU

There is definitely a learning curve, but as those above have said, use it and you'll love it. The keyboard, even without the 'missing' physical row works amazingly well. Plus, this device is by far the fastest and most advanced BB I've ever used.

Congrats on your new device! As others have mentioned, use the keyboard as much as possible for the first couple of weeks. I also suggest using an app like Extreme Typist. It's used to calculate your typing speed but is a great way at practicing and breaking in that new keyboard. I came from a Z30 and Z10 before that... I hadn't used a physical keyboard since the old legacy devices. I do think that the Passport had the largest learning curve so far but, once you get past it, it's also the most comfortable (and enjoyable) typing experience around. Have fun!

I am starting to see this as well. I had to pick up my z10 and it just seemed so tiny.
