I ordered the ProClip Car Mount for Passport and I don't think I received self-tapping screws. The base was blunt and I was completely unable to penetrate the plastic using the supplied screws. Did anyone else have this problem? I'm a little mad at ProClip for wasting my time since now I have to petition them to send me a new kit or at least new screws or go find matching screws myself.

Just wondering if you've tried the imagnet... seems pretty good to me.

Looks great! Fyi, I've been using the imagnet for some time now and it's also been wonderful to use.

Hello, I'm considering proclip for my new passport: I plan to keep both it :and my current car for the next two years....

Has anyone tried a hard-wired one?

I am attracted to the idea of leaving my in car socket free for other things.

How easy is it to change the phone adapter?

I'm looking to install one of these (hardwired) into a company vehicle, and there are three of us, me with passport, one guy with iPhone 6 plus, and other with Samsung S6 edge.

If we can install the generic proclip system and buy three holders (and change them simply) then I think it's a goer.

Bad idea! The attachment system with the screws to the base is only intended to be done once or twice. The screws 'chew'away at the plastic and will wear the holes away. I switched from a holder for a Z10 to one for a Passport and I think that only 2 or 3 of the screws are still holding.

Proclip has a mount that works with our phones even with a case. It is magnetic. You glue a small disk under your case and the magnet will hold the phone just fine. I have a Seido case and glued the disk to the backside of the case.
