    When I download and install "sing! Karaoke by smule" application (from both sources) it says this app needs google play store to run. Even I have cobalt's google play store installed on my device. Please help me

    Don't know the app.... but there are some Android Apps that must also be "patched" in order to work. But there are also some that simply won't work on a non Android device.

    Go back to that thread where you download Cobaalt's playstore and read the first Page. There it tell you how to Patch App that require Google play service.
