Problem with android app black screen

I have downloaded HILL CLIMBING from amazon app store and whenever I go to home screen or switch it to active frame or get any call in between the game when I switch to it again from home screen it just returns black screen and I have to close and reopen the game.

Anyone using same app having same problem. Is it normal or I am having issues with my android runtime.
I have another app officesuit from amazon appstore but it behaves normally so I am guessing game has a problem.
