Speaking from personal experience, prices in Sweden or Norway tend to be quite a bit higher than elsewhere. It's pretty common for many Scandinavians to order online from the UK instead of buying at home.

It depends on who their targeted customers are. Given their shrinking consumers market, It's likely the business clients. They are not going to compromise on the price at launch. I'll say $700. Depending how much buzz it generates, after 6 months to one year perhaps a drop of a hundred or two for the consumers market.

    Probably for outright it's 599 or 699. 300 or 400 for 2 yr contract.

Unlikely to be more than the flagship iOS and Android phones, because there are enough non-BlackBerry users who are interested that it ought to be priced competitively. Price still matters, especially post-2008.

Not more than 600 USD so people will be interested to buy. So BlackBerry don't have to cut prices to 400 USD after 6 months. Cutting prices make people doubt to buy it at least that is how it is in Indonesia.

    Posted via CB10
That's true. I bought my Z10 at full price, 600 USD, and now the phone worth just half of it. In one a half year.

I'd say $699 USD...and I'll also venture to say that for those of us here in the US, it will probably only be available to enterprise; whereas the Classic will be available to consumers. Just a guess. :/

Its stupid business practice to exclude a product to a user that would generate profit.

A phone don't need to be overpriced in order to compete with the Iphone. Apple is losing marketshare for a reason though!

We don't need those over priced products anymore when we are able to get them way cheaper!

Also the reason why China is doing a great job! Awsome smartphones and they easely cost $300 less!

Blackberry should really do some marketing research on the upcoming phones/prices.

Guy, I said it would be reasonably priced because it'll be competing with the iPhone.

In what world does reasonably priced mean exorbitantly priced?

Price it at the same outright as the iPhone 6, and the same 2 yr contract as the iPhone 6. Take a margin hit and get it in more people's hands. Then word will spread about how innovative and awesome it is with that touchpad like keyboard. Don't need reviewers taking off a point because it doesn't have 1 billion apps and is priced higher than the iPhone 6. It will have: much longer battery (at least 2x longer), much better reception (although this rarely is detailed in a review), much better voice call quality, much better speakers/speakerphone, likely equal screen quality, camera probably a bit worse than iPhone 6 (sensor), not nearly as good app selection - but now not too bad either with Amazon App Store pre-installed, and it will feel just as premium but in a different way. I can't wait for the reviewers to be wowed by the innovative capacitive touch keyboard! There is no way they will not be able to recommend this as a "business phone" and I see business professionals moving from high end Android phones to the Passport.

Put more salt to my wound man. Is that new? That wasn't RIM certified warranty isn't it? Because I'm going to sell mine for 2.5 million IDR. If the new one is that cheap, I don't know how low my one-and-a-half year old phone sells.

Why would it last 2x more? Your being a bit biased now.. price it around the iphone 6 and I'm sure it won't bring that much money on the table for BB.. they need to bring it with a good price and selll it as hot cake's

lol I experienced it twice with Z10 and Q10 from early price to half price cut. I would trade my Z30 to passport after passport one year launch anniversary
