I am one of those people who purchase the phone once it is going out of fashion, and it doesn't really matter in Pakistan cause no one here gets the BlackBerry 10 phones, so my Z10 that I purchased a month ago looks still new here.

Passport in pakistan is priced at 107K at the moment.

Your answer will definitely depend on the current popularity and success of Passport.

I predict the Passport is going to follow the old BBOS pricing where they don't really drop the price all that much over time. Maybe after a few month the price will settle to about $499 US. But I'd be very surprised if you see any major cuts like most of the other BB10 device enjoyed.

It was pretty much just the Z10's price that was affected drastically.

I purchased the Q5 for 40k a month after the launch and currently (with warranty) it's for 30k.
Purchased the Z10 for 30k on Jan 2014 (without warranty).

Same for Z30 - still for 50k (a 10k difference since 'launch' here).

Im assuming after homeshopping gets bored with the price skimming, the price will come down to 75k and stay there for an year or so.
Tbh, nobody keeps their phone for that long.

In Karachi, there is one proper shop in the 'Forum' that imports BlackBerry from Axiom, they always keep it w/ warranty and at a higher than market rate so I am thinking 75-80k.

I predict it will range between 214k and 428k. This is a functional Collectors Item!

If it's like the Q10, I don't think the prIce will go down very quickly. After a year it was still around 500 euros here in France. it's going down now though around 350 euros
But then the Passport seems to sell well so they might get the price down once they have achieved their goal quickly

    LOL!
Phones are not looked upon as a collectors' item in Pak. BlackBerry or no BlackBerry.
