I keep an iPod Touch for use as a testing tool for Audio/Video repairs. I could use my Passport for the same task via the USB/HDMI cable, but I prefer using the Touch as my diagnostic tool and rough that up rather than ruff the Passport up. The Passport is my main comm tool and daily driver, so not to keen on plugging cables in and out of the port anywhere between 10-15 times a day as units are tested.

The Touch is expendable, the Passport is not.

I still use an ipod touch... primarily for games and music. Purely entertainment purposes. Oddly enough though, I don't watch any videos on it though... I use my passport for that and Netflix as well.

I have an iPod touch and iPad Air 2.

I love my Passport but sometimes you just want to watch something or play a new game. You should get the Mini if you're deciding between the iPod or the iPad mini.

Ipod touch would be easier to carry around of you are a runner. BlackBerry passport isn't made for running at all!

The passport is a little too big to haul to the gym. For that I picked up the super tiny iPod shuffle.

Can anyone recommend a good native app that can play AAC files? The built-in Music app can't play my music (the files are not protected / DRM), so I had to resort to using an Android app to play my music (PowerAmp).
Doesn't Neutron support that? Haven't used it in a while, but as I recall it was quite heavily packed with features and codecs.

Nothing beats BB10 and Neutron for music sound quality.

Ipods have lousy sound quality IMHO

Off topic but can anyone recommend a music player app that has auto-connect bluetooth and auto play last song? Basically, I want to get in my car and have my pp automatically connect to me car's stereo and automatically begin play of the last song played. I contacted Neutron and am awaiting reply.
