am I the only person who is unable to post pictures from his passport using the crackberry app for os10??
I click reply to thread and click attachment button, select the picture... nothing happens. wait and wait but still nothing.

I use the stock browser and can properly navigate and upload, but noticed that it is not the browser that led to a 10% battery drain, I decided to use LTE for the very first time and I will never use it again due to poor signal (just 2 bars)...

The CB10 app is unable to upload any pics and it has been that way for a long, long time. Before you ask, no it will not be fixed.
The Android CB Forums app is so much better anyways, for example, you can use dark theme
Hardly, the android CB app for me is crap. I don't even use it on my android device. I rarely upload any pics to CB anyway and the BB10 CB forums app is miles better to use. It also has a dark theme but I don't use it- not a priority for me. For the rare time that I want to upload a pic, I just do that through my laptop.

Posting with either my old laptop or the Passport stock browser would work better for me, I do not want to waste time running Android apps, I have never needed apps and will use my Passport until its built-in email functionality ceases to work properly. I do not want to spoil the simple beauty of the trouble-free way my phone is operating right now. Now I really appreciate the unparalleled PKB and know that I have made the right choice, the last few weeks my email needs and daily communication skyrocketed. I have 48 hrs with regular 3G standby and email push enabled with regular browsing. I also tether via USB quite much the last few days. 48 hrs is pretty good battery life for me. Heavy use and frequent browsing will make it last 1 day, this is enough for me.
The Passport perfoms quite well under low light conditions (including at dusk). You cannot really rely on it for heavy night shooting, it simply lacks the quality of a large digital camera sensor and advanced optics. It does good job though. What I particularly like about the camera, is that it produces low level of chroma noise under low light conditions. You should refer back to the very first shots in this topic and you will see a building. It does not look fine, as I used night mode with the stock app. Having this in mind, you have to rely on the auto mode with the built-in camera app. The Passport does incredibly good job when fill flash used.
Generally speaking, its camera is relatively good for low light work, but it is really susceptible to camera shake. I have not explored the low light possibilities with Camera++. Since ISO can be manually set, I expect good results. For action macro work, yes you will have to rely on direct sunlight which allows the camera to be able to properly capture movement.
The only other way to do this is with high speed synchro for your flashes (the term is FP for me, I am from planet Nikon) but you will need a proper camera, not the Passport.
Your pictures are amazing as always!
The Passport's camera perfroms REALLY well in low-light fora smartphone (in my opinion). Especially using Camera++ with manual ISO-Settings. You can get a picture with almost no visible grain, sharp edges and vivid colors (again, if you know how to operate a camera properly...). check this out:
